Stop wasting time going back and forth between documents calculating screw thread dimensions. STETFS provides standard and special screw thread dimensions in seconds instead of hours. Eliminate costly errors on gage and product thread calculations. Published formulas are used to provide thread data instead of using published figures from a database. Most of the required typing is done by the program’s point too menu system. The only typing required is the nominal major diameter and number of threads per inch. The user then points to the rest of the thread data required in popup menu dialog boxes. The program then types the selected data eliminating costly typing errors. Coating allowances are provided for minimum and maximum coating thickness on product and gage threads. The Best, Exact or Optional over wire measurements are calculated for single and multiple start threads for each thread type. These programs allow the use of optional wire diameters when the best or exact wire diameters are not available. Several other options are available using the Edit options menu, such as altering the pitch diameters, changing product thread or gage tolerance class without having to repeat the data entry cycle. One input provides the required dimensions and tolerances for the internal and external product threads, as well as the dimensions and tolerances for working plug gages, setting plug gages, ring gages and minor diameter gages. STETFS is a Windows software and will runs with Windows 98, ME, XP, NT and Windows VISTA.

The program moves to the next dialog box for the next required item when the user presses Enter or clicks on OK. The program types the information selected by the user.
